Parents,
Welcome to the parent's
page of the Troop 149 website! I want to say first and foremost,
THANK YOU for all of your time, effort, and parenting skills that you give your
scout, and the troop. Without a doubt, you are the backbone of the
troop and are a vital part of making it such a success.
I understand that not all parents can volunteer each and every time for
every event planed on the Troop Calendar, but I certainly do appreciate
every bit of time donated to shape the future of our scouts. YOU are
forming memories that will stay with these young men for the rest of their
lives, and I know they enjoy having you there with them!
This page contains
information and training for the parents of scouts. From helping at
home, to a more formal position in the troop leadership and council.
Please take the time to read over the information, and if you find
something that appeals to you (as in a position in the troop), please feel
